Not your mama’s egg salad sandwich. This lil guy brings a subtle heat and fresh crunch, tucked inside soft, pillowy focaccia. Savory, rich, and just a little indulgent, it’s comfort food with a spicy twist.


Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • Chili Crisp Focaccia from here
  • 8 Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 5 Green Onions (thinly sliced)
  • 2/3 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp Chili Crisp (more or less depending on your preference)
  • 10 Leaves of Butter Lettuce
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste


Instructions

  1. To Make the Egg Salad: Remove the yolks from the hard-boiled eggs and place them in a bowl. Chop the egg whites and set aside. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, green onion, chili crisp, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy, then gently fold in the chopped whites.
  2. To Assemble the Sandwich: Slice the focaccia to your desired size and cut it horizontally. Spread a generous layer of egg salad on the bottom half, top with butter lettuce, close the sandwich, and enjoy.
